Founded in 2002 by John Dignam and John Migliazzo, both Mechanical Engineers, our core business
remains the rebuilding of Narrow Web Flexographic presses. Although we often start with used
machinery, in the course of our rebuilding, we upgrade the machine's productivity by adding
components such as tension control systems, UV dryers and AC motors and drives. As our industry
demanded more sophisticated capabilities, especially with regard to Rotary Die-Cutting, in 2004
we added a Controls Engineer, Ted Palmer. At this point, we were able to utilize Servo driven
motors and PLC controls, to further expand both our capabilities and the capabilities of our
Rebuilt Machines.
Taking into account Service, Repairs, and Installations, our Director of Engineering, John
Migliazzo has worked on hundreds of machines. Because we specialize in used machinery, John
has an in-depth perspective of the how machinery in the Converting Industry has evolved.
When our customers buy from J&J, they count on this experience and rely on the fact that we do
our own service and our own machinery moving & installations.
When added together, the team members at J&J have over 75 years of combined service in the
Graphic Arts industry. With our understanding of the past, and an eye on the future, J&J
provides our customers with the confidence that they are getting the right machine for their
application.
